ADDRESSING SOCIAL ISSUES WITH THEOLOGY
[Gal. 3:28 NLT] "There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus."
Creed: We at CCWP embrace all of God's creation, count it an honor to work along side our Christian brethern (male and female), and endeavor to do only what God has called us to do. Our plight is not to be against any, but rather for, our oppressed sisters.

Bishop R. L. Williams Prelate of the Texas Metropolitan Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction appoints Prophet Mary E. Washington to the office of Pastor of the Feed My Sheep Ministries Church of God in Christ on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. To God be the glory, And to the Man that God Chose. See video below
SEXISM IN THE BLACK CHURCH is an exerpt of an article from the Huffing Post written by Eboni Marshall Turman Preacher. Professor. Public Theologian ~Duke University
"This paradoxical anti-womanist conciliatory posture dismisses the truth that black women know better than most - which is that while the history of white Christianity in the Americas has been a primary source of black death and deprivation, like white Christians, black men in the Black Church kill black women too, literally and figuratively. Sacralized misogynoiristic Black Church practices invisibilize, demonize, and morally paralyze black women and black girls every day. Perhaps National Baptist male pastors and Southern Baptist male pastors are drawn to each other because beyond their skin color and the wave of their hair, they look very much the same."
The above article is in my opinion one of the most well written articles I have read on sexism: Reverend Dr. Turman publicly tackles an issue most of us will not talk about, even in private.
"While I do not nesessarily support each statement made by Reverend Turman, I do believe that she is on point regarding sexism in groups of organized religious faiths".
It has been too long tolerated and it is high time it become a public discussion for true change among the people of God, rather than hidden in the hearts of those oppressed by the thoughts and acts of a patriarchal society~ Prophet Mary Washington
CREDENCE COALITION for WOMEN PASTORS embraces the following mission:
To encourage women who are met with sexist opposition by any, to the call of God in and on their life.
To be a source of pro-active support through educating both female and male to biblical principles which do not allow place for respect of person in ministry.
To be an advocate by declaring the will of God for His church body, according to Scripture.
And to lend physical and spiritual support to the ministry of each CCWP Member.
